CRYOTHERAPY SPOT TREATMENTS
Fast Concentrated Healing

Spot treatments focus the healing where it hurts the most. Localized cryotherapy can be used exclusively or in conjunction with Whole Body Cryotherapy for intensified healing. Localized cryotherapy has all of the benefits of Whole Body Cryotherapy, but is focused on one targeted area. This treatment is most effective for treating an injury, reducing pain, alleviating swelling, minimizing bruising, and mitigating some skin conditions. An average treatment will last 5-20 minutes.

FAQ'S
Do I have to take a shower before or after a session?
No, you will remain dressed and dry throughout the entire procedure. The average treatment is between 5-20 minutes. Treatments are usually applied during a lunch break, after school, or on the way to or from the gym/work.
How many treatments are needed to achieve optimal results?
Depending on the severity of the condition, 5-10 treatments in close succession to each other is recommended, usually every other day. Once the treated area has healed, maintenance treatments can be applied weekly, bi-weekly, or as needed.
How does a cryotherapy spot treatment compare to an ice pack?
Other than applying “cold” as the healing agent, they do not compare. An ice bath is painful to many. The pain and discomfort comes from the direct contact of the ice on your skin rather than the temperature. The precise application of the spot treatment to your injury will provide the therapeutic benefits of ice without the all-too-familiar pain that ice packs can cause. In fact, cryotherapy spot treatments leave your skin significantly cooler and promote accelerated healing.
Where can localized cryotherapy be applied?Localized cryotherapy can be applied just about anywhere you have an ache, pain, or skin condition. Depending on what your condition is, we will design a custom treatment for you.
What do I need to wear?
You can have your cryotherapy spot treatment done wearing your everyday clothes. As long as we have direct access to the area you need treated, and it is completely dry, we can provide a spot treatment. Depending on the location of the injury, you may be treated at our Cryo Frost Facial Bar, our treatment room, or our private massage room.
