BENEFITS

Float Therapy: What to expect...
YOUR FIRST FLOAT
Upon completing our check-in process, you will be escorted back to your float room for the next 90 minutes. After answering any of your questions, you will be left to your own private oasis.
After you undress, you'll insert earplugs provided by our team and step into the shower to rinse your hair and body to remove any excess oils. After rinsing off, you will step into the flotation unit and lay down. Your body will instantly float to the top of the saline water solution. Once weightless, simply switch off the lights, lay back, relax, and let the journey begin.
As your treatment concludes, you will hear soft, meditative music through the water. This is to notify you that your session has come to a close. Switch on the lights and step directly back into the shower to rinse off any of the saline solution left on your skin. Dry off, get dressed, and enjoy the euphoria of serenity.

Float Therapy: What you need to know...
FAQ'S
How do I prepare for my float?
You do not need to bring anything with you. We will provide everything you need. Avoid shaving or waxing immediately before your float. For your own comfort, make sure any recent piercings or tattoos are completely healed. You will need to remove any jewelry and remove any contacts. If you are going to eat prior to your float, try and keep it light, and avoid caffeine.
Can I drown in the float room?
No, it is impossible to drown. The water is less than a foot deep, and because of the high salt content, your body is naturally buoyant. If you were to fall asleep and roll over, the salt would sting your eyes and wake you.
Is there a maximum size or weight limit for float therapy?
As long as you are shorter than 84 inches (7 feet), you are able to enjoy our float therapy.
What if I fall asleep in the float room?
Sleeping is encouraged while floating. It will enhance your body’s natural healing state. Don’t worry about oversleeping; we have music that will wake you up at the end of the session.
Are there things I can do to enhance my floating experience?
Come with an open mind and practice floating regularly. The more you float, the more successful your results will be.
I’m pregnant, can I float?
Absolutely! Provided you are not a high-risk pregnancy, floating can be a wonderful experience for a mommy-to-be. Since your body is heavier than usual, weightless relief from gravity pulling on your body's muscles and joints can be extraordinary. Please consult with your physician or midwife before using float therapy.
What if I am claustrophobic?
Our rooms cater to those who struggle with claustrophobia. The rooms have a glass door; you will essentially feel like you are in an enclosed tub. Our state-of-the-art floatation units are much more open and airy than a traditional float tank. You are in full control of the doors (that do not lock) and the lights at all times.
Are there any restrictions that would permit me from floating?
We will not allow you to float if you have any of the following conditions:
· Infectious skin or respiratory disorders
· Open wounds
· Incontinence
· Epilepsy or serious mental conditions
· A high-risk pregnancy
· Have healing stitches
· Have colored or permed your hair within 7 days
· Under the influence of any drug or alcohol
· You are a minor without a signed parental consent form
How the tanks are kept clean and disinfected?
The salinity of the water inside in rooms is not compatible with microorganisms. This means that nothing can survive or grow in water that salty. Additionally, after each session, the rooms are sanitized; all of the water in the tank is cleared and run through a multiple phase filtration system.
How long do people usually stay in the tank?
Our floats are 90-minute sessions. Some people find that longer time periods are more successful. In this instance, back-to-back sessions can be arranged.
Can I float if I'm menstruating?
Yes. Just use the same protocol you'd use for a swimming pool or hot tub.
